Sometimes we have to lose everything to discover God. Our attachments and our goals blind us to the basic facts of whom and what we are. We are godheads, meant to experience life as Him; not us. When we die, piece meal, evolving into a life form, living and loving in a more wholesome manner, realizing our life is not ours to begin with. When we commit our life to God, in this way, walking through the furnace of ego-death, we begin to live. You have no claim on where you work, or what you do. God will claim what is His own when the time comes. Live with the appreciation of committing your life to the Lord of the seven seas and seven heavens (and what is in between).
